The CyberDisplay^® 1280M R monochrome displays with a 1280 x 1024 resolution are the display of choice for high-resolution thermal imaging applications such as head-steered FLIR HMDs. These displays offer low power and low thermal loads with power consumption of less than 100 mW. The Cyberdisplay 1280M displays are available in two versions: the standard Twisted Nematic (TN) AMLCD as well as Kopin's patent-pending Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment (MVA) display. The MVA display offers a normally black image with an extremely high contrast ratio (greater than 300:1) and a very wide, symmetric viewing angle. These ultra-high-contrast, ultra-high-resolution displays are ideally suited for image intensified and thermal night vision applications.
