The CyberDisplay^® 640M R monochrome display is a very compact with a 640 x 480 resolution in a compact 0.38-inch-diagonal package. The Cyberdisplay 640M R displays are available in two versions: the standard Twisted Nematic (TN) AMLCD as well as Kopin's patent-pending Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment (MVA) display. The MVA display offers a normally black image (at zero bias voltage) with an extremely high contrast ratio (greater than 300:1) and a very wide, symmetric viewing angle. These ultra-high-contrast displays are ideally suited for image intensified and thermal night vision applications.Both versions operate over a wide (-40^oC to +65^oC) temperature range providing a full 8-bit gray scale image of the thermal scene.
