About CyberDisplay

Kopin's CyberDisplay® products are the world's only transmissive LCDs that use high-quality single-crystal silicon transistors. They have the world's highest pixel density, allowing the sharpest resolution for their size. CyberDisplay LCDs are manufactured in a broad range of resolutions, including a high-definition TV resolution display comparable in size to a postage stamp. Using optical magnification, however, the CyberDisplay microdisplays can produce large, vivid images equivalent to those generated from an LCD TV. This concept is the basis for Digital iVisionTM technology, which enables ultra-portable eyewear for mobile video applications. Kopin's CyberDisplay products and applications are protected by more than 100 patents and patents pending.

Since the first CyberDisplay products were introduced in 1997, the displays' performance advantages and unmatched features have propelled acceptance by a wide range of customers. Kopin has shipped more than 30 million displays, which have been used in products made by the world's largest consumer electronic manufacturers including Fujifilm, JVC, Kodak, Olympus, and Samsung. Kopin's displays have been used in camcorders, digital still cameras, and recently lightweight mobile video eyewear for watching TV, music videos and movies, browsing the Web and checking email from mobile devices such as cell phones, or playing 3-D games on the go. In addition, CyberDisplay LCDs are the microdisplay of choice for advanced night vision goggles and thermal weapon sights used by the U.S. Army.
