Job Description
ESSENTIAL (employee MUST be able to execute):
- Operate and monitor PC based MOCVD epitaxial reactors, and associated test and inspection equipment.
- Input accurate data record of tasks executed in the PEIWTS lot tracking system.
- Monitor all appropriate SPC charts and notify the supervisor or engineer when an out of control situation occurs.
- Support engineering data collection per written instructions as authorized by the shift supervisor.
- Supports execution of engineering experiments per written instructions.
Other Work to be Performed:
- Must learn all aspects of the area of responsibility necessary for hands on processing.
- Must maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Requires additional production support tasks as specified by the shift supervisor, or engineering.
- Active participation in yield enhancement.
Equipment and/or Machines to be Used by Employee:
- PC based MOCVD reactor
- PC based Lehighton contactless resistivity measurement system
- PC based Tencor surf scan particle measurement system
- PC based wafer handling/inspection system
- Microscope
- Oracle based mainframe, and PC windows
WORKING CONDITIONS/EXPOSURES (environment):
- Wafer-fab clean room environment
- Some chemical exposure and handling
Job Measurements (indicators of satisfactory job performance):
- 90 day probationary training period
- Quarterly informal reviews
- Yearly formal review
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
0 – 5 Years
Technical Knowledge:
Computer Literate
