HLA IQC Inspector

 SPECIFIC DUTIES: - ESSENTIAL (employee MUST be able to execute):

• Inspect a variety of incoming parts per written inspection procedures.
• Note rejects by category, segregate and log appropriately on log sheet and/or Oracle.
• Printed wire board inspection and cleaning.
• Rework of piece parts if required by MRB disposition.

Other Work to be Performed:

• May work on OQC of Military/HLA parts if process flow warrants.
• May perform other QC tasks as needed with appropriate direction and training.

Equipment and/or Machines to be Used by Employee:

• Microscopes
• Calipers
• Simple Test Sets
• Vision Measurement System

WORKING CONDITIONS/EXPOSURES (environment):

• Clean room.
• No hazardous materials or equipment.

JOB MEASUREMENTS (indicators of satisfactory performance):

• Successful completion of 4-12 week training period in Westboro; resulting in certification.
• Accuracy and throughput of inspection results.
• Adherence to Kopin policies and protocols. DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS (minimal requirements):

Education: High school or equivalent
Experience: Must have cleanroom experience & some QC
Inspection experience.
Technical Knowledge: Must be able to correctly interpret specifications and
drawings sufficient for IQC inspections.
