Job Description

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

•Manages program activities, schedules, goals and objectives.
•Creates program evaluation tools and evaluates the effectiveness of the program.
•Utilizes basic principles and practices of program management.
•Supervises and evaluates staff, directly and through subordinates.
•Manages multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines & resources.
•Provides leadership and motivates staff.
•Makes effective presentations to individuals and groups.
•Understands and interprets applicable export laws and regulations.
•Prepares clear, concise and informative reports, correspondence and other written materials.
•Communicates effectively with co-workers, management, and customers. Understands Government contract budgeting principles and practices.
•Understands export compliance for USML listed products.
•Competent in computer applications related to program management.
•Develops strategies for effectively representing the company, including communicating these directly to the customer.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT):

•Office/Cleanroom Fabrication facility.
•Some travel required approx 30 - 40%.

•General Office Equipment

JOB MEASUREMENTS (Indicators of satisfactory job performance):

•Ability to maintain program deliveries and revenue projections.
•Customer satisfaction through on-time deliveries of quality product.
•Ability to effectively manage changes-in-scope within the programs.


Requirements

DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS (minimal requirements):

US citizen or permanent resident. required for government contract work.

Education: BS or MS in business management and/or Engineering discipline.
Experience: 5 - 7 years experience in Military Products Program Management.
Technical Knowledge:
•Knowledge of ITAR, USML and qualification requirements.
•Understanding of military/commercial manufacturing processes.
•Effective in managing CM, CCB, and ECO's.
•Ability to manage a diverse technical team.
Desired Personal Traits and Characteristics:
Self-starter with proven track record for organizing efficient organizations focused on quality products and customer satisfaction.
