Process Control Engineer

SPECIFIC DUTIES: • Utilizing statistical process control techniques to comply with internal and external quality plans. • Designing and implementing process control methods to improve machine performance. • Instructing process teams on the use of statistical methods for performance improvement. • Monitoring quality metrics and goals to drive quality improvement efforts. • Process and quality optimization - understanding the needs of our customers and suppliers (internal and external), translating those requirements into improvement plans, and then implementing changes in procedures and processes to support product and process development. • Interfacing with equipment and material vendors to stay informed of new technologies and equipment and their potential applications. • Creating and reviewing part, product, and customer specifications. • Participating in system troubleshooting activities. • Conducting failure analyses and preparing corrective action recommendations. • Participating in multidisciplinary projects related to process improvement, quality and yield improvement, cost reduction, R&D, and more.

Education: BS in Engineering, Physics, Applied Sciences, Statistics or a related field Experience: Three years statistical process control experience in high volume manufacturing. Individual or project team experience driving quality improvement and ISO certification initiatives. Desired Personal Characteristics: Proven ability to investigate problems, attend to detail, follow procedures, and improve systems and processes.
