Production Process Engineer

SPECIFIC DUTIES : • In partnership with existing process engineering resources provide initial problem solving and corrective action for routine day to day process problems encountered. Provide leadership role in problem solving allowing existing engineering resources time to focus on process development. • Be the resource the DL workforce encounters first for help • Support manufacturing resources in the attainment of all manufacturing goals and metrics • Provide for continuous process improvement by minimizing operator/ machine induced yield loss • Provide technical manufacturing support to the introduction of new processes or new production process equipment. • Work closely with equipment engineers/ technicians to establish maximum process equipment uptime • Establish metrics for measurement of process capability, together with providing means of improvement • Attend weekly engineering meetings to insure coordination of engineering activities Equipment and/or Machines to be used by Employee • All manufacturing process equipment in use for production • All process measurement equipment in use for production JOB MEASUREMENTS (indicators of satisfactory performance): • Attainment of all manufacturing goals and metrics • Ability to problem solve, and provide corrective action • Providing additional time for existing engineering resources to devote to development work • Ability to work effectively with peers, subordinates, and superiors

DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education BS or MS in an engineering discipline Experience Minimum of 5 years Manufacturing or Process Engineering experience within a semiconductor, thin film, or LCD manufacturing environment Technical Knowledge Prior work with semiconductor or LCD manufacturing equipment. Working knowledge of LCD display technology highly desirable Personal Traits A dedicated, highly motivated, detail oriented team player. A self starter with leadership qualities, able to motivate others. Characteristics Capable of dealing in a stressful environment. Ability to remain calm under pressure. High level of personal ownership. Excellent communication skills
