A230

The A230 is a highly integrated driver IC that supports Kopin's CyberDisplay® WQVGA LVS color display. It is designed to accept BT656 digital video source and generate timing and analog RGB input for the display. It also has an integrated frame buffer memory (103680x 16 bit SRAM) that can support the display resolution up to 432 x240. The A230 supports I2C and 3-wire serial interfaces and Intel 80-type parallel interface for accessing configuration registers and for accepting microprocessor-generated graphics and video into the frame buffer.

A251

The A251 implements the analog back end part of the driver for Kopin's low voltage CyberDisplay® products with integrated DACS and amplifiers. It provides a simple digital video input interface to front end video processing in ASIC or FPGA. The A251 supports industry standard I2C and 3-wire interface. Kopin's A251 driver IC integrates 8 10-bit DACs and 16 video amplifiers.

The extended GBE drive ASIC (XGBE) implements the analog back-end part of the driver data path for driving CyberDisplay® low voltage microdisplays up to 24 channels. The ASIC has the ability to drive two separate displays, each with 12 channels. The GBE drive ASIC accepts digital video input in 24 bit RGB color input format, or eight bit monochrome input format. It supports dual video stream to support stereoscopic display, using two displays.

The A913 is a highly integrated driver IC that supports Kopin's CyberDisplay® VGA LVS and WVGA LVS displays. It is designed to accept BT656 standard digital video source, and supports NTSC and PAL. The A913 supports industry standard I2C and proprietary 3-wire serial host interface. It includes one PLL and three 10-bit DACS with six video amplifiers, for supporting one CyberDisplay.
