These products incorporate CyberDisplay LCDs, backlights and optics in a compact package. Our electronic viewfinder (EVF) modules offer digital camera and other electronic device manufacturers a complete EVF solution with high image quality in a tiny package. Our binocular display modules (BDM) allow mobile video eyewear manufacturers to focus on the creative process of designing stylish products. The White Pearl is a compact Display Module aimed for emerging wearable computing / communication devices, offering high-brightness images at very low power consumption.
White Pearl™ is a compact Display Module aimed for emerging wearable computing/communication devices. Integrating a CyberDisplay WQVGA LVS LCD (428x240 resolution in 0.20"diagonal), efficient backlight and precision optics, White Pearl provides a bright full-color image with less than 0.5% distortion in a 14.5-deg field of view and comfortably large eye box (8 x 5 mm) and eye relief (22.5 mm). White Pearl and Kopin's A230 display driver ASIC together consume less than 100 mW at display brightness of 1000 nits, sufficient for outdoor usage. A frame buffer memory residing in the ASIC offers further save system power savings.
The CyberEVF VGA, designed for the Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) for high-zoom and interchangeable lens digital cameras, incorporates all of the EVF components an OEM requires: a full-color microdisplay with VGA resolution, ultra-thin backlight, optics and housing with an easy-to-use focusing mechanism. This complete EVF solution enables digital camera OEMs to shorten the design time for new products and substantially reduce the assembly cost. The CyberEVF VGA's tiny size and light weight enables OEMs to shrink their cameras to a pocket-size form factor. With a 23.8-degree field of view, the viewfinder generates large, vivid color images with virtually no distortions or color aberrations.
BDM-WVGA delivers a large (42" diagonal at 6 1/2 foot distance), crisp image. This light-weight, compact module is ready to incorporate into your own eyewear design with minimal effort. The module integrates two CyberDisplay WVGA LVD color filter displays (852 x 480 resolution), LED backlights and a pair of pre-aligned high-quality lenses. The BDM-WVGA can be driven by A913 controller IC.
