Designed for Pilot Awareness

Kopin helps maximize situational awareness, precision, and safety with integrated helmet-based displays—designed to meet pilot and mission needs.

We work with leading defense partners to build helmet-mounted display (HMD) solutions that perform in the most challenging environments and demanding missions. Our microdisplays for key fixed and rotary wing defense programs enable pilots to read critical flight, tactical, and sensor information for split-second decision-making.

Pilot-Centric Design

Enhanced Experience

Kopin has experience balancing the trade-offs of ergonomics and performance to ensure all vision systems are lightweight and intuitive to prevent dizziness, headaches, and fatigue.

High Brightness

Eliminate the need for separate day and night display systems with wide field of view and optics designed to meet all mission requirements. Breakthrough design and processing advances allow us to meet ultrahigh brightness, large dimming range, and high contrast full color requirements.

Intelligent Display

Allow pilots to easily process and utilize information when they need it the most. Our integrated helmet-mounted displays enable pilots to view mission-critical flight and sensor information for superior situational awareness.

Advanced Technology

Custom Design

We are the only company that can offer all leading display types, to meet the most challenging brightness and contrast specifications.

From patented full-color Brillian AMLCD displays with 34,000 nits-and-higher brightness to next-generation ultrathin microLED technology, Kopin partners with you to determine the right display and optics for your mission needs.
