AUSA 2025 Recap: Shaping the Future of Soldier Vision Systems

11/19/25

Last month Kopin attended the Association of the United States Army – AUSA 2025! It was an incredible week!

Kopin had the honor of meeting with key defense media, industry leaders, and partners to showcase our latest advancements in soldier vision systems, MicroLED technology, and our AI-enabled NeuralDisplay™ prototype, each designed to deliver clarity and performance when it matters most.

Throughout the event, attendees experienced hands-on demonstrations of Kopin’s mission-ready display systems built for real-world performance, from daylight-readable MicroLED displays to intelligent, adaptive NeuralDisplay™ technology that represents the future of battlefield optics.

Visitors and Coverage

We were proud to welcome and brief leading defense media professionals and analysts, including:

Eric Graves, Soldier Systems Daily
Damian Kemp, Shephard Group
Carlo Munoz, Janes
Tim Mahon, Defence Alternatives

Their insights and coverage helped highlight Kopin’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the U.S. industrial base and advancing technologies that enhance situational awareness, survivability, and operational advantage for the warfighter.

Innovation on Display

At AUSA, Kopin demonstrated how our integrated systems are redefining readiness:

  • MicroLED Displays — Delivering ultra-bright visuals for daytime and night operations
  • NeuralDisplay™ Prototype — AI-driven eye tracking display technology that adapts to user vision in real time
  • DayVAS and DarkWAVE Systems — See-through AR modules optimized for situational awareness in both daylight and low-visibility conditions

Each innovation underscores Kopin’s leadership in developing U.S.-made, mission-critical optical solutions for defense, medical, and industrial applications.

Strengthening U.S.-Made Innovation

Every conversation during AUSA reinforced the same shared vision: that American made innovation and domestic manufacturing are essential to sustaining technological superiority. Kopin continues to invest in facilities and partnerships that ensure our warfighters have access to the most advanced, reliable vision systems in the world.

Looking Ahead

The momentum from AUSA sets the stage for a strong close to 2025, as Kopin builds on its IBAS-funded MicroLED initiative, expands NeuralDisplay™ development, and strengthens strategic partnerships with defense and technology leaders worldwide.

Thank you to everyone who visited, engaged, and shared in our mission to shape the future of soldier vision.

Together, we’re redefining what’s possible in defense innovation and optical intelligence.
