promotion of Mr. Bill Maffucci to Vice President of Defense Programs,
reporting to Dr. John C. C. Fan, Kopin’s President & CEO. Mr. Maffucci
leads Kopin’s Visual Products Group which is located in Scotts Valley,
California, and is responsible for defense product prototyping, R&D
efforts and management of defense production. He succeeds Mr. Mike
Presz, who will continue supporting Bill in a business development
capacity.

Mr. Maffucci is an industry veteran with more than 35 years of
experience working with defense contractors in a variety of display
applications with special emphasis on the development of head mounted
display systems. Bill’s background includes extensive experience in the
advanced development of displays, optics and ergonomic solutions for
avionic and dismounted soldier systems.
