2.6K 1.3” OLED Color Display
The 2.6K OLED display is a color-filter Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) on silicon with a 2560 x 2560 pixel resolution. With a 1.3” diagonal size, it is the largest and highest resolution microdisplay in the world. The integrated high-speed C-PHY / D-PHY MIPI interface supports frame rates up to 120 Hz. The 2.6k display is ideal for AR or VR or MR glasses and commercial applications.
This display features Kopin’s patented backplane architecture for high speed operation with low power consumption. It incorporates eight lanes of D-PHY and six trios of C-PHY as well as display stream compression (DSC) to provide frame rates up to 120-Hz at full resolution. Bidirectional horizontal and vertical scanner circuits are integrated on the backplane. The 10-bit RGB video input depth and low persistence duty cycle modes provide precise image control supporting High Dynamic Range (HDR) video and gaming applications.
